This roundtable meeting that was organized as part of the Bahá’í Chair’s series titled ‘Dialogues on Development’ brought together individuals from academic institutions and development organizations in Indore to participate in a thought-provoking and stimulating interaction on the implications for educational systems and pedagogies of promoting positive social transformation. Prof. Rekha Acharya, Dean of Social Sciences, DAVV, was the chief guest at the program. Speakers at the event included Prof. Kamakshi Agnihotri, Professor and Head of School of Education, DAVV; Prof. YogeshwariPhatak, Director, Prestige Institute of Engineering and Management Research; Dr. F.U. Shaad, an eminent educationist; Mrs. Archana Parsai Gehlot, Founder, Asmakam, an education-based NGO; Ms. Martha Moghbelpour, National Coordinator, Social Action Desk, National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of India and social worker and Padma Shri awardee Dr.JanakPaltaMcGilligan.
