The Bahai Chair organized a one-day faculty development workshop for the faculty of the St Paul Institute of Professional Studies, Indore on ‘Releasing the Power of Human Reality’. Mr.PayamShoghi, Principal of Riverdale International School, Pune was the Key Resource Person facilitating the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to help faculty members become agents in promoting the twofold purpose of education which was described by Mr. Shoghi as helping the individual develop their inherent talents and capacities as well as making the individual an effective agent for the development of society. Topics covered in the workshop included the dynamics of team building, the nature of an effective team, qualities and attitudes of team leaders, the role of consultation in team building and the role of the teacher in today’s society.
