The Bahá’í Chair for Studies in Development at Devi Ahilya University, in collaboration with the Bahá’í Office of Public Affairs, New Delhi, organized a book launch and panel discussion on 15 March 2026 on the eve of its newly published book ‘Dialogues on Development: Rethinking Development for a Just and Sustainable Future’. The event brought together scholars, practitioners, and members of civil society.
Ms. Nilakshi Rajkhowa, Director of the Bahá’í Office of Public Affairs of India gave the welcome remarks. This was followed by an introduction to the book by Dr. Arash Fazli, Head, Bahá’í Chair for Studies in Development, DAVV. The Panelists for the discussion were Prof. Amitabh Kundu, Professor Emeritus, LJ University;Dr. Aditi Kapoor, Co-Founder, Alternative Futures and Dr. Steven Schonberger, Economist and Former Global Director, World Bank. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Fazli.
