This symposium was organized in collaboration with the School of Social Science, Devi AhilyaVishwavidhyalaya, Indore. Speakers included Prof. Rodney Clarken, Professor Emeritus, Northern Michigan University, USA; Prof. D.K. Verma, Professor, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Mhow; Prof. Rekha Acharya, Professor and Head, School of Social Science, DAVV and Dr. Arash Fazli of the Bahai Chair. Prof. Renu Jain, the Vice-Chancellor of DAVV, was the Chief Guest of the program.
The symposium explored the implications of living in times of rapid change in society where previous standards, norms and institutional frameworks that ordered humanity’s collective life, was no more adequate to meet the needs of an emerging age.
